JYP Entertainment Gives Statement After Removal Of Wonder Girls' Photo From Building

On January 13, a representative of JYP Entertainment gave an official statement to Korean news outlet MyDaily after the removal of Wonder Girls’ photo on the exterior of the building.

“We are still in discussions about renewing Wonder Girls’ contract,” the representative said. “Nothing has been decided yet. We will let everyone know once discussions are concluded.

Wonder Girls’ current contract with JYPE will expire in the middle of this month. It is possible that the girl group will choose not to renew their contract, having already reached this stage without conclusive discussions.

Wonder Girls debuted in 2007 and previously renewed their contract at the end of 2013.
