Yoo Yeon Seok Opens Up About Love, Marriage, And Public Relationships

Actor Yoo Yeon Seok is currently riding high from the popularity of his recent drama “Romantic Doctor Kim.” In addition to gushing about his perfect chemistry with castmate Seo Hyun Jin, Yoo Yeon Seok has also spoken about how the drama became a pivotal turning point for his life. During a recent interview, the actor opened up about love and dating in the public eye.

When asked about what his dating style is, he answered, “I’m not like Kang Dong Joo [his role in the drama] in having a crush for five year, but I have liked someone for about a year. I’m not too direct with my intentions but I’m not too shy either.”

He laughed as he continued, “If there is someone that I like, I’m not the type to not be able to speak and run away. I’m the type to actually confess my feelings to her. But from then on, I may be a little hesitant.”

The topic of public relationships then came up and he honestly answered, “I haven’t really thought that much about if I want to date publicly. If both of us want to, we can. There are a lot of couples these days who came out with their relationships only to break up later. So I think I’ll consider it when it comes to it.”

Yoo Yeon Seok then brought up the topic of actress Kang Sora and her public relationship with Hyun Bin, saying, “I recently heard the news about Sora’s relationship. I didn’t hear about it when we were filming together but I wish them well.”

When asked if he is jealous of the people around him who are dating and getting married, he answered, “Han Suk Kyu did tell me to get married soon. Maybe because of that, but I have been thinking about when I’ll get married. These days, a lot of people are getting married later in their lives and so I think I’ll be okay as long as I get married before the age of forty.”
