Royal Pirates' James To Leave The Band Due To Health Complications

On January 31 KST, Royal Pirates’ James posted a handwritten letter to his fans on his personal Instagram.

In the letter, which is written in English, he states that he will be leaving Royal Pirates due to increasingly complicated health issues.

Two years ago, James sustained a severe injury to his wrist and shoulder in an accident at a restaurant when a door frame fell on top of him. The accident left him unable to play the bass.

In the letter, he apologizes to his fans for disappointing them and touches on the work he’s put in for the past two years to come back for them. However, after learning about the potential for a sixth surgery on his hand and a newly discovered blood clot in his brain, he has decided to leave the band and focus on finding a new direction for his life.
