Yook Sungjae Says He Accepted Cast Offer For "Goblin" Without Even Looking At Script

BTOB’s Yook Sungjae talked about his recent role as Yoo Deok Hwa in tvN’s “Goblin.”

On January 31, the singer-turned-actor appeared on SBS’s “Entertainment News Tonight” (tentative title) along with the other BTOB members for an interview.

Yook Sungjae talked about “Goblin,” saying, “When I got the casting offer from the ‘Goblin’ team, I thought I should accept it without even taking a look at the script.”

When he was asked to name an actor who he is close with, Yook Sungjae replied, “I talk with Lee Dong Wook a lot on the phone, but I often talk with Gong Yoo as well.”

Yook Sungjae also shared the moments when he realizes the drama’s popularity, saying, “It hits me when I go to a restaurant and I hear the table next to me talking about ‘Goblin.'”
