In response to reports that allegedly reveal what really happened in the 2012 T-ara bullying scandal, former member Areum left a note of gratitude on her personal Instagram account.

Along with a screen capture of the lyrics to Park Hyo Shin’s “Gift,” Areum writes: “I’ve held back a lot. Apart from anything else, to the reporter who uploaded my old image. Let’s definitely meet soon.”

The image Areum is referring to is likely to be the screen capture of her chat conversation with Ryu Hyoyoung.

Areum continues: “I don’t know. If by any chance you are reading this message… be strong, reporter ^^ Everyone, let’s be strong like nothing happened today! ^^ (smile emoticon).”

Areum adds in English, “I’m ok,” as well as in Japanese, “Don’t worry, I’m okay. I’m sorry I made you worry.”
