Moon Hee Joon Reveals A Method Idols (Or At Least He?) Use To Date Secretly
On the February 10 broadcast of “Singderella,” veteran idol group member Moon Hee Joon disclosed a secret regarding idols and dating.
“Most girl groups are not allowed to use or own personal phones, but the company provides a shared tablet for them to look up choreography, articles, and other related things,” the singer explained.
According to him, idol members will often sign up for messaging apps such as KakaoTalk, but without a phone number, which disables many of the app’s settings such as calling. So, they will only text, but even then it’s sporadic since they can’t always be logged in. Usually, a couple might tell each other a time and place to meet up, and secretly date that way.
At that moment, one of the producers offscreen shouted, “Are you telling your love story?” referring to his fiancé, Crayon Pop’s Soyul. Moon Hee Joon froze in place right after hearing that and made everyone laugh.
