Stills Revealed For Yoon Kyun Sang In Upcoming Episode Of "Rebel: Thief Who Stole The People"

Yoon Kyun Sang will be making his first appearance as the adult version of Hong Gil Dong on the February 13 episode of “Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People”!

“Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People” is based on the story of a historical figure named Hong Gil Dong who lived in the Joseon era and saved the people from King Yeonsangun’s tyranny.

People who know the story of Hong Gil Dong may expect the drama version of Hong Gil Dong to be an extraordinary person from the beginning, but the character portrayed in the drama is far from it. He is the son of slave Amogae (Kim Sang Joong), and the first glimpse we get of him is of him roaming the streets of Joseon as a merchant. To add to that, he’s a heavy drinker and a player who hits on any woman he finds attractive.

Based on this background, it is difficult to picture how he will develop into a hero, but that is exactly how the drama will keep viewers coming back to find out more.
