BTS' "Spring Day" MV Reaches 30 Million Views In Record Time
It has been a memorable couple of days on YouTube for BTS and their fans!
Over a week ago on February 13 at midnight KST, BTS released their new repackaged album “You Never Walk Alone,” as well as the hauntingly beautiful music video for their track “Spring Day.”
The MV set a new record for the highest views achieved by a K-Pop group music video in its first day, as well as broke the record at the time for the fastest K-Pop group MV to hit 10 million views and 20 million views.
After the group’s second music video for this comeback entitled “Not Today” was released on February 20, the video for “Spring Day” hit 30 million views a little over a day later! “Spring Day” reached the milestone at around 12:13 a.m. KST on February 21, meaning it set a new record for K-Pop groups by achieving 30 million views in 8 days and 13 minutes. The previous record of 8 days and 23 hours was held by TWICE’s “TT.”
Meanwhile, BTS’s music video for “Not Today” has shattered their own records already, and their “Blood, Sweat & Tears” MV joined the 100 million view club in the afternoon on February 20, becoming the second fastest K-Pop group video to do so.
