"Infinite Challenge" Reclaims Spot As No. 1 Saturday Variety Show A Week Before Return From Hiatus

MBC’s most popular variety program “Infinite Challenge” is returning from its seven-week break next week.

On March 11, the last “Best of ‘Infinite Challenge'” special gathered 9.1 percent viewer ratings nationwide and reclaimed its spot at the top of the Saturday variety show rankings. The episode revealed the top ten best slapstick comedy scenes from the show.

At the end of the broadcast, they aired new footage of the members, in which Yoo Jae Suk exclaimed, “Let’s create a new legend from now on!”

The producers of “Infinite Challenge” previously teased a “Citizen Cabinet” special coming up soon. In light of president Park Geun Hye’s impeachment, viewers are curious to see what kind of special they are preparing.

Meanwhile, competing show KBS2’s “Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend” gathered 8.4 percent viewer ratings, and SBS’s “Three Great Emperors” achieved 5.6 percent ratings.
