Highlight's Lee Gikwang Opens A Heartwarming Gift On His Birthday

Highlight’s Lee Gi Kwang recently celebrated his 28th birthday. In honor of his special day, his fan club “Our Gi Kwang” made a heartwarming donation to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation.

This isn’t the first time Lee Gi Kwang’s fans have made a charitable donation. Previously, the fan club has donated wells to countries in need of clean drinking water and continue to give to good causes.

The fan club said, “We wanted to do something special to celebrate Lee Gi Kwang’s birthday and his new start under the group Highlight. We agreed that raising money to help leukemia patients would be a meaningful way to commemorate this special day while giving strength to children in need.”

Lee Gi Kwang responded to the caring gesture by sharing the certificate of donation on his Instagram. He captioned the post, “I am so truly thankful to my fans for doing such a good deed on my behalf. I don’t think there is a better birthday present than this. Thank you so so much and also thank you to the reporter for writing such a nice article about this!!!!”

Meanwhile, Highlight has been topping the charts with the title track “Plz Don’t Be Sad” from their first mini album “Can You Feel It?”
