Stephanie Lee Departs YG Entertainment For Agency Focused On Actors
Model turned actress Stephanie Lee has left YG Entertainment and signed an exclusive contract with YNK Entertainment.
On April 26, YNK Entertainment announced “We are excited and happy to be able to work together with Stephanie Lee to help her tap into her unlimited potential.” They also stated, “Stephanie Lee is an actress who will show even more talent and charm in the future than what she has already displayed in the past and is remembered for by the public.”
Regarding this latest career move, Stephanie Lee said, “As I prepared myself for a fresh start, I took time to think about the direction of my career, moving forward. I stayed open-minded and met a company with which I could share my thoughts.” More specifically, she explained she was drawn to YNK Entertainment because of her desire to progress as an actress. “I am happy that I can fulfill my dream of acting at YNK Entertainment, a company with good seniors. Of course, I will work hard to live up to YNK Entertainment’s reputation as an agency that specializes in actors.”
Stephanie Lee started her career as a model at the age of 16 for commercials, and also working as an entertainer on various broadcasts. With her outstanding figure and distinctive features, she rose rapidly in the advertising industry and gained public recognition in the process. She debuted as an actress in JTBC’s “Seonam Girls’ High School Investigators.” Following that project, she also appeared in the SBS dramas, “Yong Pal” and “Second to Last Love.” As a Korean-American, Stephanie Lee is also fluent in English, and she was able to show off her language ability in her past acting roles.
Moving forward, Stephanie Lee plans to communicate with the public through a variety of projects and mediums, including dramas, films, advertisements, and variety shows. She is also considering ways to engage in this wide spectrum of activities through overseas promotions.
