Lee Si Young Is A Total Daredevil In New Action-Thriller Drama Preview Stills
MBC’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Lookout” has released new preview stills of the lead star Lee Si Young ahead of its premiere in May!
Since this is the actress’s comeback to the small screen in about two years after appearing in various variety shows, many fans are excitingly awaiting her performance on screen.
Her drama “Looktout” is an action-thriller about people who catch the criminals who manage to slip through the law. This crew is made up of people who were victims of crimes and had their lives turned upside down in a blink of an eye. Lee Si Young will be playing the character Jo Soo Ji, a former detective who lost her loving daughter due to crime and is determined to catch the culprit.
Out of the many talents that Lee Si Young has, viewers are looking forward to seeing her action stunts in the drama the most. Not only is she a professional boxer, but she was also able to show off her amazing strength and stamina through the military variety show “Real Men” female edition.
Even her character, Jo Soo Ji, has girl-crush charms that will create perfect synergy with the actress’s real personality. In the drama, she will be fighting off bad men in one blow and becoming a heroine against irrational elites in the society. Furthermore, her natural acting skills are making the fans anticipate her comeback to dramas even more.
In the preview stills, Lee Si Young is giving her best to express the scene and her character most accurately. In fact, the actress spent one day of filming continuously running, rolling, and hanging on to moving cars. She even obtained a motorcycle license and drove the bike herself.
A source from “Lookout” commented, “Lee Si Young is filming with great passion at the moment. When I saw her complete stunts without a stuntwoman, I realized that the actress is giving her best to express the desperate mind of Jo Soo Ji, who lost her daughter due to crime. Please look forward to Lee Si Young’s performance, which will refresh and touch the viewers’ minds with her heroic actions.”
Meanwhile, “Lookout” will air in May after “Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People” finishes its run.
