5 Reasons To Watch "Produce 101 Season 2"

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that the wildly successful survival show “Produce 101” is back for a second season. As these boys all fight for a spot in the top 11, there is a whirlwind of emotions that affects contestants and audience members alike. Before you know it, the show will have sucked you in for good. So if you’re somehow not already watching, here are just a few things that may bring you over to the dark side.

1. Just how extra these boys are

Which is very extra. Seriously, this show has provided enough meme material to last a lifetime. The ridiculousness was evident even from the introductory videos made for each trainee. I’m looking forward to the future antics that trainees have to offer, especially after the ghost prank in episode 5.

2. Bromance

The friendship between the boys is too pure for this world, and I’m absolutely living for it. Even if all my favorites get eliminated, I can live in peace knowing that Kang Daniel and Lee Woojin are friends. Throughout this entire season, bromance has been all around, which I am eternally grateful for (I mean, they don’t call it “Broduce 101” for nothing…).

3. How everyone adorably supports each other

Although there are rivalries among the contestants, everyone on the show cheers one another on. “Produce 101” is meant to be a competition, but at the end of the day, you have to remember that an idol group is a team. At some point, the good-natured encouragement seen on the show will undoubtedly warm your heart.

4. The tears, tears, and EVEN MORE TEARS

Being a trainee certainly isn’t easy, and sometimes the pressure is too much to bear. Whether they’re tears of celebration or tears of frustration, sometimes you just have to let it out. And if I shed a tear from time to time while watching, nobody can judge me for it, okay!
