Jung Woo Sung To Potentially Star In New Historical Fantasy Film

A representative from actor Jung Woo Sung’s management agency, Artist Company, stated on May 15, “Jung Woo Sung received an offer for the film ‘Devil’ (tentative title). It is one of many offers that the actor is looking over at the moment.”

The representative continued, “Currently, Jung Woo Sung is focusing on filming for ‘Steel Rain’ and, afterwards, will beginning filming for ‘Wolf Brigade’ (tentative title). Since he is a part of a lot of projects that haven’t even wrapped filming yet, it’s hard to say anything final about new projects. It will probably be a while before anything definitive can be said about casting for ‘Devil.'”

“Devil” will be a historical fantasy film set in the Joseon Dynasty. The film will be about a king that kidnaps a girl and the lower class citizens who set out to find the girl, with the help of a vampire. “Devil” will be directed by director Kwak Kyung Taek, who has worked with Jung Woo Sung previously on a 2003 film titled “Mutt Boy.”
