"Produce 101 Season 2" Contestant Woo Jin Young Writes Letter To Fans After Elimination
On the May 26 episode of “Produce 101 Season 2,” HF Music Company trainee Woo Jin Young placed no. 40, unfortunately missing the cut line for the top 35.
After the episode, he shared a handwritten letter for fans to express his gratitude.
“Hello, this is HF Music Company trainee Woo Jin Young. Thanks to all the attention and love you gave me, I was able to come to this point and finish well! I sincerely thank you,” he started. He also reached out to the fellow trainees on the program, saying, “I want to once again thank the 97 friends that have helped me a lot and worked hard together. Although my final result was disappointing, please give lots of support to my friends who are still remaining!”
He continued, “I will work even harder so that I can greet you again soon. Thank you again to the national producers who have believed in me and have waited for me. I will become someone who works harder and harder so that I don’t disappoint.”
He concluded the message by mentioning Park Woo Dam, a trainee from the same agency who is still on the program. “Finally, Woo Dam! It’s boring without me, right? Take good care of your health, and work hard so you can show the best side of you! I will be here cheering you on! Please give lots of support and love to Woo Dam who is still working very hard! He really tries his hardest. Thank you.”
Although Woo Jin Young did not get much attention at the beginning of the program, as his grade rose from C to A, and after three performances on “M!Countdown,” his popularity began to rise steadily. He was especially noticed after his excellent performance as the center of “Who You” during the position evaluations.
Meanwhile, Woo Jin Young will be returning to HF Music Company to continue training.
