3 Times "Fight My Way's" Park Seo Joon And Kim Ji Won Had Us Going Will-They-Or-Won't-They?

As one of the hottest dramas of its Monday-Tuesday time slot, “Fight My Way” is going strong as it continues to develop the friendship-turned-romance between lead actors Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won.

Directed by Im Sang Choon and written by Lee Na Jung, the drama shows plenty of heart-thumping moments between Go Dong Man (Park Seo Joon) and Choi Ae Ra (Kim Ji Won) that had us believing they might well be on their way to more than friends.

1. “Did your heart beat faster?”

After Ae Ra was dumped by her younger boyfriend, Dong Man bought her a bag and shoes at the local store. In response, Ae Ra said cutely, “Oh, our Dong Man is a guy who buys me bags” and although Dong Man pretended to choke, he patted her on the head. When Ae Ra said, “That kind of thing makes your heart beat faster,” he touched her face and said, “Did your heart beat faster?”

2. “I’ll play with you.”

Although the two of them fight constantly on their own, as soon as one of them is in real danger the other immediately has their back. In Episode 2, they protected each other at a wedding hall and a police station and Ae Ra encouraged Dong Man by saying, “You may be dumb, but you’re not a loser. No matter what anyone says, you’re going to make it someday.” Dong Man later said to Ae Ra, “Don’t go around getting hit. Just play with me. I’ll play with you.”

3. “Don’t touch!”

In Episode 3, Dong Man playfully stole the toilet paper roll Ae Ra had been lying down on, but Ae Ra just used his arm as a pillow instead. When Dong Man went to touch Ae Ra’s face, she opened her eyes and warned him off. “Don’t touch me,” she said. “I’m an unsophisticated girl who can’t act cool so I’ll misunderstand stuff like that.” She then hugged him and held his hand and said, “You might have a mind like a Buddhist monk if I do this but I’m not like that.” However, Park Seo Joon’s flustered expression soon said it all.

A source from the drama said, “Dong Man and Ae Ra have a daily chemistry that only they can’t see. Every day their feelings for each other are changing. Especially in the last episode, both of them turned red when Ae Ra pretended to hug Dong Man and they both got some idea of how the other feels.”
