SM Entertainment Reveals What Its Artists Have In Store For The Rest Of 2017
SM Entertainment is about to become the busiest agency of 2017, as the agency is currently looking at a jam-packed schedule from now through the end of this year.
SM Entertainment’s youngest boy group, NCT 127, has been confirmed to be making a comeback this month and has already finished filming the MV for their title track.
NCT 127, which is a sub-unit of NCT, made their debut last July with their track “Fire Truck” and made a comeback earlier this year with multiple MVs for “Limitless.”
Red Velvet has experienced a great deal of success since their debut with their quirky songs and energetic choreography, and is naturally attracting a great deal of attention as they prepare for their comeback.
Meanwhile, the members have been busy showing off their individual charms through variety shows, dramas, and more.
SM Entertainment also revealed its future plans for popular idol group EXO, as the group wrapped up the final leg of their third concert tour “The EXO’rDIUM” on the end of May in Seoul Olympic Stadium, the largest concert venue in Korea.
The group hinted at their summer comeback at the press conference for their final concert and stated that their title track had been decided on already.
Girls’ Generation will be celebrating their 10th debut anniversary this coming August and will be releasing a new album to celebrate it. Although it hasn’t been officially announced whether the album be a commemorative album or an actual new album, Hyoyeon talked about the preparations for the album in a recent interview.
ELFs may not have to wait much longer for Super Junior’s comeback as the group may be returning to the K-pop scene in a few months. Currently, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Siwon are all expected to be discharged from the military this summer. Although the group will still be missing a few members, as Kyuhyun and Ryeowook will both be completing their mandatory military service at the time of the presumed comeback, there is a good possibility that the group will return late this summer or early this fall.
Meanwhile, Kyuhyun released a final MV for his track “Goodbye For Now” ahead of his military enlistment.
The members of SHINee have all been busy lately with individual activities – SHINee’s Key is currently acting for the drama “Lookout” while Minho has recently been cast as the lead in a new JTBC drama – but have recently come together to begin preparing for a group comeback.
Meanwhile, the group celebrated their ninth debut anniversary together in May.
