2PM’s Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria to Split!

It’s been announced today that 2PM’s Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria will leave the popular reality show MBC’s “We Got Married” on Sept. 17. This news comes as a shocking surprise to the program’s fans as it follows the unexpected news of David Oh and Kwon Risae’s departure from the show. 

A representative of MBC confirmed, “Both couples will leave the show within this month. September 17th’s episode will be Nichkhun and Victoria’s last episode. We are currently in the midst of casting a new make-believe married couple.” Many Khuntoria fans anticipated the bad news after the preview for the upcoming episode aired. In the preview, Nichkhun and Victoria were in tears after receiving their mission from the crew. 

For the time being, the show will continue with its two existing couples, Kim Won Jun – Park So Hyun couple and Lee Jang Woo – Ham Eun Jung couple. Along with these departures, there will be some major changes to the production. According to a representative of “We Got Married,” they “are planning to go with a 3 couple system since producing for 4 couples is difficult to manage” By reducing the couple size, the production staff is planning to place more individual focus on each of the couples.The crew has been running an audition with young stars for several weeks to pick a new couple. Along with these changes, “We Got Married’s” current PD Kang Goong PD will be replaced by “Come To Play’s” PD Kwon Suk PD.
