First Recording of "1N2D" Without Kang Ho Dong Begins

September 23 marks an important turning point for the highly popular KBS variety show “1 Night 2 Day” with the date being the first recording of the show after MC Kang Ho Dong’s shocking retirement announcement. The remaining five members (Lee Seung Gi, Lee Soo Geun, Kim Jong Min, Eun Ji Won and Uhm Tae Woong) however are continuing on and have gathered to commence recording.

As previously announced, Kang Ho Dong has decided not to make a final appearance on the show and the remaining five members have gathered at the Main KBS Building at an extremely early time of 5AM to commence recording for the show.

Prior to the start of recording, “1N2D” Main Producer, Na Young Suk, asked reporters that had gathered at the scene  “To please be a bit considerate towards the cast as they are in a sensitive state” while also stating that “The members are nervous since Kang Ho Dong has left and the mood is a bit downtrodden but everyone is screaming out “Fighting” and doing their best. Since the members are extremely close to each other, they will successfully overcome the current situation.”

He finished off by telling reporters that “We will continue recording to the best of our abilities for the period of the time that has been decided upon. Please give us a lot of support”

Regarding rumors of the show getting a new MC or ending earlier, Nah Young Suk PD states that “There will be no early cancellation, there will also be no new MC joining, The program will air till February as  planned with 5 members, I trust them to do well”
