Kim Tae Hee Takes First Lead Role in Japanese Drama
Kim Tae Hee has landed her first lead role in a Japanese drama. On August 25th, Fuji TV announced that the star actress will co-star with popular actor Hidetoshi Nishijima in a TV drama titled, “Boku to Star no 99 Nichi (Me and My Star’s 99 Days).”
In this romantic comedy, Kim Tae Hee will play the role of Han Yoo Na, who is one of Korea’s most popular actresses, and makes Nishijima fall in love with her. The two are expected play comical roles throughout the show.
“It’s hard to act in Japanese but I hope this becomes a good show that both Korean and Japanese people will enjoy,” Kim Tae Hee said. Nishijima added, “I’m very excited. I’ve always wanted to play a role that portrays love that touches your heart.”
“The two unique and attractive stars will show tremendous chemistry,” a representative of the show said.
“Boku to Star no 99 Nichi” will air its first episode in October through Fuji TV.
