Kwon Sang Woo Is Recovering from Leg Surgery

Actor Kwon Sang Woo underwent surgery on his leg to repair an injury he had sustained while shooting “Into the Fire” that got worse while filming for his latest movie “Pain.” Local news agencies report that Kwon Sang Woo went under the knife on September 20 to repair four torn ligaments in his leg.

The actor was first injured in March but his condition worsened when he shot a scene jumping from roof to roof in “Pain.” Kwon Sang Woo was in Hong Kong and Singapore when the pain in his leg took a turn for the worse that prompted the operation. He is currently concentrating on treatment and recovery for the next three weeks.

Kwon Sang Woo is set to star with Jackie Chan in the film “12 Chinese Zodiac Heads.”
