Lee Wan Enters Military

Actor Lee Wan, who announced surprisingly last Tuesday that he planned to enlist, entered into the Korean army today.

Lee Wan gave a short speech to the press before entering the Nonsan training camp. He stated that he was calm, despite being scared “even up until two days ago”. “I am not trembling or nervous,” he added.

He went on to talk about his sister’s reaction to his news. Lee Wan said that Kim Tae Hee seemed unfazed, and was shooting a film right now. “I hope we’ll get to watch the movie together.”

Finally, he said sorry to his fans for enlisting so suddenly. He promised to act in a great project after returns.

Lee Wan , though not quite as famous as his sister, has also starred in a fair number of dramas, including “Swallow the Sun”, which aired on SBS in 2009.
