Rain and Shin Se Kyung to Star in "Red Muffler"

Rain will star in the upcoming movie “Red Muffler” alongside actress Shin Se Kyung.  The movie will be a remake of the 1964 movie “Red Scarf”, directed by Shin Sang Ok.  Rain will star as Taehoon, a fighter pilot who falls in love with an auto mechanic, played by Shin Se Kyung. 

Filming is expected to begin in January.  Due to the large-scale war scenes and the the real air force planes which will be used, the budget is set for over 10 billion won ($8.8 million USD).
