Rumors and More on Possible Season 2 of KBS "1N2D"

Prior to the official announcement regarding a possible Season 2 of KBS’ popular show “1 Night 2 Days,” changes in the cast seem inevitable.

It was confirmed that 1N2D, which is part of the segment “Happy Sunday,” would air its last episode in February 2012. Additionally rumors concerning season 2 and its cast have been spreading like fire online and keeping netizens busy. Korean media outlets reported that 1N2D’s key members such as Lee Seung Gi and Eun Jiwon might not come back for a second season as it would be difficult for them to be part of it and focus on their careers. The same day, reports revealing the identity of 1N2D season 2’s producer have been floating around news portals.

Choi PD of “Invincible Baseball Team” is rumored to be producing the show’s new season. He addressed the rumors stating :”Nothing has been decided yet.”

Regarding the five original cast members he added :”I don’t know. I heard nothing of it.” Official announcements from the 1N2D members have yet to be made and the viewers’ expectations are growing bigger.

Rumor has it that the brand-new 1N2D Season 2 will keep its concept of traveling across the country but with a complete change of its members. One can’t think of a new season of the show without having in mind “Family Outing Season 2.” 

But fans of the show have been voicing their displeasure as they’d rather not want a second season without the original members. 1N2D has been airing for 5 years and enjoyed a lot of popularity from the viewers each week.

Some tend to think that the show couldn’t go on without Kang Ho Dong, but it actually surprised many and managed to do quite well.
