Spottoon's "A Stranger In My House" Now Available To Read On Soompi!

Soompiers, it’s time for the next webtoon in our great lineup of comics from Spottoon! Starting today, “A Stranger In My House” by Yoo Hyun Sook will be available to read directly on Soompi here! This title may sound familiar to you because it’s been made into the new KBS drama “The Man Living in Our House” starring Soo Ae, Kim Young Kwang, Jo Bo Ah, and Lee Soo Hyuk. But what’s the story all about? Read on to find out:

Nari’s father passed away when she was young, and her mother died 3 years ago. When Nari returns to her hometown, she is shocked to find a young man named Nangil living in her childhood home — and even more shocked to discover that the man is her stepfather! It seems impossible that they will ever get along — until Nari has no choice but to live with her new stepdad, forcing them to spend time together. What kind of bond will form between Nari and this unexpected stranger?

Nari is a flight attendant. She is gorgeous and hard-working, which enables her to succeed in the competitive job pool for flight attendants, but she sometimes lets her emotions spiral out of control. She is still mourning the loss of her mother, who passed away 3 years ago.

Jin is Nari’s boyfriend. He is usually quite busy and often has to travel out of town because of work. He and Nari have been living together for a long time, which makes people wonder if they will get married soon.

Nangil is — much to Nari’s surprise — her stepfather, even though he is younger than she is. He married Nari’s mother shortly before she passed away, which makes Nari believe that he is a con artist and gold digger who was only after her mother’s property — but is he?

Miju is one of Nari’s fellow flight attendants. She started working at the airline after Nari. Miju says she doesn’t have a boyfriend, and everyone thinks she is too pretty to be single… but is she hiding something?
