Las celebridades conmemoran a las víctimas del desastre del Ferry Sewol en el sexto aniversario y prometen nunca olvidar

Many celebrities have posted on social media to promise to always remember the victims of the Sewol Ferry Disaster.

On April 16, 2014, a ferry traveling to Korea’s Jeju Island from Incheon sank while carrying 476 people. 304 people died in the disaster, including 250 students from Danwon High School who were going on a field trip.

As the nation grieves once again on this sixth anniversary of the terrible tragedy, many celebrities have taken to social media to commemorate those who were lost. Those posts include many yellow ribbons, which are used as both a symbol of mourning and also for the activism campaigns that followed.
